Massachusetts Avenue runs on a diagonal towards the northeast from downtown where you can find shops, local theater, restaurants and one of the liveliest bars in town. Classic Leather and Jeans cruise bar
My favorite bar in Indy! Why? Well the men are men, older and younger, if you are Daddy and you need a naughty boy go there fast! The music is kicked out by great DJs, the drinks are always special from burly tenders and the boys are hot! Two levels of locals, liquor, pool tables and pinball. This is the toughest and most intriguing bar in Indy so where your best boots! Oh, and lots of parking!
The bar is located on the northeast corner of College and Michigan Streets. The parking lot is located across the street on the southeast corner. Michigan is one-way westbound, about 3 blocks north of Washington Street. College is one-way northbound, about 7 blocks east of Meridian Street.

Pennsylvania is a one-way southbound street located one block east of Meridian Street. The bar is on the west side of the street. On-street parking is available or you may use the lot catty-corner from the bar on the NE corner of Pennsylvania and St Joseph streets.

An Indy Institution
The Varsity is the oldest gay bar/restaurant still in operation in Indianapolis!
This joint is always a hoot, it's the gay Cheers of Indy! The lounge has an historic feel to it and the clientele is a mix of older locals and hipsters from the art school across the street. You can have a decent meal in the restaurant on one side or have some great bar food on the other side. Take a peak at the jukebox or, just sit a spell at the bar with a charming bar tender.
